The Town of Christiansburg is holding a contest to help select the 2017 Christiansburg Heritage Ornament, which will be sent to hang on this year’s Holiday Tree in the Executive Mansion in Richmond.

All Christiansburg residents are eligible to submit an ornament for consideration. Ornaments must be handmade and should represent Christiansburg in some way. Entries that are not selected will be displayed on the tree in Town Hall during the holiday season.

This is the third consecutive year that the Executive Mansion has invited Virginia counties, cities and towns to submit ornaments to hang on the Holiday Tree.

Contest rules and an ornament submission form may be found at www.christiansburg.org/ornament. All entries must be submitted with a submission form, and must be delivered to Town Hall by 4 p.m. Oct. 20.
