Engineering
--
Perform design
for Town infrastructure, provides technical support, and
develops/maintains GIS data for the Town.
Public Works --
Maintains all Town infrastructure, such as water & sewer lines,
hydrants, streets, pump stations, landscaping, signs, traffic signals,
snow and ice removal from streets, mowing Town properties, etc.

|
Goal
and function is to encourage physical activity and fitness for all
citizens, and to provide facilities, equipment, parks, and programs that
help to achieve those goals. With our award-winning Recreation
Center and many small neighborhood parks, our Recreation base is expanding
with the new Harkrader Sports Complex that will boast 3 competition
baseball/softball fields, walking track, and soccer/multipurpose fields.
Additionally, we are in the initial design phase for the Christiansburg
Aquatic Center, which will have additional recreation equipment to
compliment our Recreation Center, as well as a competition-size indoor
pool and a family pool.
