A DMV record or Motor Vehicle Report that has ANY of the following convictions during the most recent three-year period will be deemed “unacceptable”:
• DWI/DUI• Reckless Driving• Suspended License• Speeding 15 MPH or more above the speed limit• Drug Offense• Hit & Run/Leaving the scene of an accident• Two or more at-fault accidents• Three or more moving violations in the past three years (does not count non-moving violations such as expired registration, improper equipment)• Less than three years of driving experience
DMV reports that do not list any of the aforementioned convictions or driver liability concerns will be deemed “acceptable” per carrier insurability guidelines.
