Brief Biography
I‘ve spent most of my life as a local resident, growing up in Blacksburg, attending Montgomery County Schools, and graduating from Virginia Tech.  After pursuing brief career opportunities in Northern Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina, I returned, choosing Christiansburg as the place to establish my home.

I'm a Licensed Civil Engineer practicing in Transportation, Traffic and Public Utility Engineering, and Land Use/Planning. I was honored to serve on the Town’s Planning Commission for seven years prior to being elected to Town Council.  I also had the privilege of coaching baseball for the Parks and Recreation Department for a number of years.

In serving on Council my goal is to build on Christiansburg’s past successes in serving a growing community with changing needs, and to see that we pass along to future generations a Town that is vibrant, livable, affordable, and as attractive as possible in which to live, work, and play.
