The Water & Sewer Committee meets to review matters relating to public water supply and wastewater treatment. The Town of Christiansburg is a member of both the Blacksburg-Christiansburg-VPI Water Authority and the Peppers Ferry Regional Wastewater Treatment Authority, so matters involving membership decisions and establishment of rates are common items of discussion. This Committee also considers matters of solid waste collection in Town, including the establishment of rates.
