Garbage Collection Information
What time should I have my cart placed curbside on collection day?
Please have your cart placed curbside for collection no later than 8 a.m. on your collection day. Your garbage may not be collected if it is placed curbside any later than 8 a.m.

What time should my cart be removed from the curbside following collection?
Carts should be removed from the curbside as soon as possible following collection. Carts must be retrieved from the curbside by the end of your collection day.

Holiday Garbage Collection Schedules
As a general rule, observed holidays which occur during your regularly scheduled garbage collection route will be collected the following work day (Monday through Friday). For example, if the observed holiday occurs on a Friday and that is your collection day, then your garbage will be collected the following Monday (along with Monday’s regular collection routes).

If a holiday is observed over two consecutive days, your garbage will be collected the following two work days. For example, if the Town observes a holiday on Thursday and Friday and your normal collection day is Thursday, then your garbage will be collected on Monday (along with Monday’s regular collection routes). If your normal collection day was Friday, then your garbage would then be collected the following Tuesday.

Please remember to place your garbage curbside for collection by no later than 8 a.m. Following collection, your cart should be retrieved from the curbside within the same day.

Christmas Tree Collection
A separate, curbside collection for Christmas trees is provided each year.

This collection usually begins at the beginning of January and lasts for 2-3 weeks.

All lights and ornaments should be removed from the tree prior to placing it roadside for collection.
