Community Parks

Christiansburg’s Nine Parks

Christiansburg offers nine parks for residents and visitors to enjoy. Nestled throughout the Town, these parks are the perfect location for a picnic or playdate. Managed by the Department of Parks and Recreation, our parks offer something for all ages!

Parks are closed dusk till dawn, no loitering allowed.

In response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) we will be closing all playgrounds, basketball courts and public restrooms effective at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 2. For the safety of our community, the closures will remain in place until further notice. Park, trails, and other open spaces are still open for the public to enjoy for the physical and mental health benefits they provide. Individuals and groups of 10 or less must adhere to the social distancing requirements of six feet set forth by the Governor. We will be sanitizing each park Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8- noon. The park we are currently sanitizing will be closed for a short period of time to allow the disinfectant to dry. The Huckleberry Trail will be sanitized on Tuesdays and Thursday but will not be closed during that time.
