On-Site Solar Photovoltaic System Feasibility Study

Question Received: “In reference to RFP #235000015, On-Site Solar Photovoltaic System Feasibility Study, is the Town open to using the same Consultant for the feasibility study and some or all of the recommended solar development and construction, or is the County looking for the study to be done by a third party?” 

Answer: This RFP was issued only for the Feasibility Study described in the solicitation. Should the Town determine as a result of the study it is in the Town’s best interest to continue with all or a portion of the solar projects studied, a separate RFP will be issued. That RFP will be for the design, construction, monitoring, and maintenance of the solar system(s). That future solicitation will be open to all Consultants. Having been awarded the Feasibility Study contract will not eliminate a Consultant from future project consideration resulting from the study. For clarification, this RFP does not involve Montgomery County.
