Beginning Oct. 13, 2025, construction will begin for Franklin Street Intersection Improvements at the intersection of Wades Ln. and N. Franklin St. This project will include modification of curb ramps with the addition of new crosswalks. It will also include the installation of pedestrian signals at the crosswalks of both N. Franklin St. and Wades Ln.
During this time, drivers should expect intermittent lane closures, traffic shifts, and flagging operations, which may result in brief delays. Pedestrian routes may also be temporarily redirected—please follow all posted detours.
Work is weather dependent, and schedules may adjust as needed. Access for emergency services, residents, and businesses will be maintained throughout the project.
This project is expected to be completed at the end of March 2026.
