- Public Relations
Christiansburg’s Office of Public Relations serves as a liaison between citizens, the media and the Town’s many departments. The Public Relations Office utilizes a variety of outlets to release information to our residents.
Want to stay informed about what is happening in Christiansburg, but not sure how to be in the know? The Town offers two notification systems that can text, call or email you what is going on around town.
Notify Me sends you a notification whenever new information is posted on our website. Anytime we update a news story or post a public meeting, you'll receive an email or text message. Notify Me helps you stay up-to-date about Town-wide initiatives, meetings, ongoing capital projects, community programs and more. To sign up, visit www.christiansburg.org/notifyme.
Citizens Alert allows you to receive emergency alerts (calls, texts or emails) based on your address or specific interests. You can customize what type of information you want to receive, such as weather alerts from the National Weather Service, trash service updates, crime notifications, waterline breaks, road closures and more. To sign up, visit www.christiansburg.org/alerts.
Watch Town Council Meetings, Planning Commission Meetings & Council Committee Meetings.
