$45 town resident/$55 non resident (that attends Christiansburg schools)

Eligibility Policy for Youth Team Sports

Non-Resident/non-taxpayer will be assessed an additional fee. Non-Resident (NR) must attend school in the Christiansburg school district to be eligible to play.

No request will be taken (straight draft).

The Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department in all athletic programs will revert back to VHSL rules as a standard if not addressed in local league or specific organizational rules.

Late Registration policy is as follows:

TWO WEEKS OF LATE SIGNUP WILL BE TAKEN AFTER REGISTRATION END DATE. $10 LATE FEE FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS TAKEN AFTER REGISTRATION ENDS. AFTER THE TWO-WEEK LATE SIGNUP ENDS, ANY REGISTRATIONS THAT OCCUR WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST.

Volleyball Information Sheet

 A section of the Huckleberry Trail in Montgomery County will be closed beginning November 3, 2025, for repairs to bridges and trail infrastructure.This section of the trail will be closed to both pedestrians and cyclists for the duration of the project. No detour is available due to the nature of the work. The trail is expected to reopen in March 2026.While any trail closure is inconvenient, the winter months were selected for this project due to lower trail usage by citizens. Signage has been posted along the Huckleberry Trail in both Blacksburg and Christiansburg to indicate the closed portion of the trail. The estimated cost for this extensive construction and engineering project is $1M.  Information
