Christiansburg is home to the Huckleberry Trail, an eight-mile-long, paved path that connects the town with neighboring Blacksburg. The trail offers unique views of the region as it passes over railroad tracks, through wooded areas and fields, and alongside residential neighborhoods. The New River Valley has a new way to get from point A to point B. Montgomery County, the towns of Christiansburg and Blacksburg, and Virginia Tech have teamed up for a bike share system that is starting with 12 stations and 75 bikes distributed across those stations.
