Beginning July 31, the Town of Christiansburg will begin paving secondary streets as part of the Town’s annual paving program. The work will take place over the span of approximately three weeks (weather permitting) and will occur between the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
In the following weeks, crews will pave in the New Village Dr. area, including New Village Dr. itself along with Bozeman Trail, Tula Cir., Camellia Ln., Sequoia Cir., Aster Ln., Sage Ln. and Wistaria Dr. Paving is also scheduled in the Park District which includes the following streets: Schaeffer Dr., Schaeffer St., North Dr., Stone St., Colhoun St., Grant St., Collins St., Ashby St., Republic Rd., Liberty St., Water St. and East St.
Motorists in these areas should allow for extra drive time, follow posted signs and flaggers, and use alternate routes when possible during paving. The Town also asks that residents do not park vehicles on streets scheduled for paving to allow full access for crews.
