Beginning Monday, Sept. 30 at 8 a.m., a contractor will be conducting gas line relocation work as part of the Hickok St. Drainage Improvement Project. The work is expected to continue through Friday, Oct. 4 at 5 p.m.
During this time, Hickok Street will be closed between W. Main St. and College St. Additionally, Commerce St. will be closed to traffic from the Macado's parking lot to Hickok St. The parking lot behind 53 W. Main St.t will also be closed during this period.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and remain cautious when traveling near the construction zone. The streets and parking lot will fully reopen after the gas line has been relocated and necessary patching has been completed.
