Is there a business you’ve always dreamed of opening in Christiansburg? Do you have a business idea but want some expert guidance bringing it to life? Could receiving up to $5,000 in grant funding help launch your business idea?
Launch Christiansburg helps Town residents bring their business idea to life by providing a variety of resources to the meet the needs of current and potential business owners alike! The program includes a 10-week educational course (CORE), mentorship opportunities, connections with other business owners throughout Town and more!
Each week during the 10-week educational course (CORE) a variety of business topics will be covered including: profit-market fit, pricing, marketing/messaging, legal and accounting considerations and financial modeling.
The course will help starters and dreamers build, test and refine their new business or expansion idea, while also walking through next steps to bring their idea to fruition. At the end of the program, participants will deliver a business pitch, where they could receive up to $5,000 to help begin or grow their business.
Applications are now open for the Launch Christiansburg 10-week educational CORE course. The deadline to apply is July 11, 2025.
