Join the Town of Christiansburg at the Christiansburg Recreation Center on Saturday, October 25 for a fun-filled morning of running, costumes, candy, and pancakes at our annual Getting Scary on the Huckleberry event!
Schedule:
- Kid’s Fun Run (Ages 10 & under)
- Starts at 8:45 a.m. | FREE! | Pre-registration required
- 5K Run/Walk (Ages 9 & up)
- Immediately following Fun Run | $30 registration fee
- Race-day registration is available!
- Truck-or-Treat
- 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. | FREE!
- Kids can check out a variety trucks while collecting candy from local organizations.
Details:
- No animals permitted.
- Strollers welcome — please start at the back.
- Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall finishers + medals for top finishers in each age group.
- Costume Contest — wear your spookiest, funniest, or most creative costume to win special prizes!
- Bonus: Our Parks & Recreation staff will be serving up their famous pumpkin pancakes for all race participants!
