UPDATE: On June 25 at 8 p.m. until June 26 at 6 a.m., Public Works will be repairing a waterline on Roanoke Street in the area of First Street.
During this time, the right westbound lane on Roanoke Street will be closed at First Street SE along with the left eastbound lane on Roanoke Street at First Street SE. All homes and businesses will be accessible (see below map).
Once crews excavate the area and determine the location of the leak, there will be intermittent water interruptions to repair it. Public Works personnel will coordinate with local businesses to ensure the least amount of impact to their operations as possible.
Prior to the work occurring, crews will prep the area by removing asphalt during the daylight hours of June 25, from 9:30 a.m. until around 3 p.m. No water interruptions will happen during today’s daytime lane closures.
