On Monday, Oct. 25, a contractor will begin work on the Tower Road/Hampton Boulevard/Roanoke Street Intersection. Work is expected to take approximately eight months to complete, and the installation and commissioning of the signal will be near the end of the project in summer 2022. The work includes a sewer realignment and stormwater channel improvements downstream of the project. The new intersection will be signalized and have pedestrian crosswalks. The project also includes additional sidewalks on Hampton Boulevard, Tower Road, and eastbound Roanoke Street.
