Beginning Monday, May 20 at 7 a.m., a contractor will be installing a new sewer line across Silver Lake Rd. The work is expected to continue until Friday, May 31 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.
During this time, Silver Lake Road will be closed to through traffic between the intersections of Chrisman Mill Rd. and Round Meadow Rd. Detour routes will be clearly marked with signs on Radford Road and Chrisman Mill Road, directing thru traffic.
Residents within the closure area will still have access to their properties. Temporary barricades and signboards will be placed to advise drivers and prevent thru traffic while allowing local access. The Town asks that all travelers exercise caution, follow posted detour signs, and allow a little extra time to get to their destinations.
