The Town of Christiansburg 2025 Annual Paving Project will begin this week.
Crews will begin milling street surfaces on Thursday, April 24 and start paving on Tuesday, April 29. "No Parking" signage will be placed in areas of work at least 24 hours before work begins. Flaggers and paving equipment will be active in the roadway during construction.
Streets included in this year's project are:
- Meadow Drive N.W.
- Alexander Court N.W.
- Katie Lane N.W.
- Jessie Circle N.W.
- Clearview Drive
- Badger Street
- Elk Drive
- Silver Lake Road (between Elk Drive and Beaver Drive)
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible, reduce speed, and follow the direction of flaggers to ensure everyone’s safety. The work is expected to take approximately four weeks, weather permitting.
