Crews will replace a fire hydrant without a shut-off valve on Monday, Aug. 11, beginning at 8 a.m. To complete the work, the main water line must be temporarily shut down.
Water service is expected to be restored by the end of the workday.
The outage will affect all services on Orchard Street, Murray Street, Powhatan Drive and Gobblers Spur. The map below outlines the affected areas in yellow.
