Beginning Dec. 15 at 7 a.m., a contractor will be extending a fire-main lateral across the sidewalk and within the public right-of-way on 100 W. Main St.
During this time, a sidewalk closure will be in place. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the existing crosswalks and directed to the opposite sidewalk during construction.
This work is expected to take three days to complete, and the sidewalk should be fully restored on Wednesday, December 17 by 7 p.m., weather permitting.
