Community Garden

The Town of Christiansburg is happy to announce the expansion of the Community Garden Program for Town of Christiansburg residents. Our new Community Garden is located at 1525 Roanoke Street. Community gardens are gardens in which both edible plants, such as vegetables, and non-edible plants, like flowers, are grown by the surrounding community members for their own consumption.

Any resident of the Town of Christiansburg ages 18 and up are invited to apply for a plot at the new garden. Applications will be reviewed based on the order in which they are received

The estimated size of individual plots is 20’x20’. Individual plots are initially tilled for gardeners by the Town, but it is the gardener’s responsibility to maintain their plot during growing season.

There are designated community garden gravel parking spots at the end of Moore Street. Please do not park on Moore Street or any location other than the designated parking spots.

All plots have been awarded as of 4/4/2023. Please feel free to fill out an application to be part of the waiting list!
